IntroductionNormally, dopamine is produced in the midbrain and distributed throughout the brain and body for use as a communicating molecule. Parkinsonism is due to loss of delivery of dopamine molecules. Although there are a long list of causes for parkinsonism, Idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease is the leading cause.
