IntroductionAlzheimer’s disease is a progressive deterioration of neurons of the central nervous system. Early symptoms include worsening short-term memory, becoming lost easily, and difficulty operating tools such as a remote control. While there are medications available to ameliorate the symptoms, there are no curative treatments as of yet.
